DESCRIPTION OF DEPARTMENT:

Thermopylae's Tactical Department is indeed involved with being tactical. Tactical combat simulations (table top gaming involving real life tactics) and the duty to safe guard the crew's safety is the primary purpose of the tactical department.

In addition to these responsibilities the Tactical department is responsible for regular report to the Comm Link publications, as well as has assigned duties during special events, and away team missions that are to be assigned depending on the event by discretion of the command staff, namely the Captain.
