DESCRIPTION OF DEPARTMENT:

Our Marines are largely current and former military personnel. Our Marines make up about half the crew roster. Their purpose is the defense, and support of the U.S.S. Thermopylae and it's members. Many of our Marines hold multiple positions aboard Thermopylae as it is part of their elected duties to be a seamless integration of the ship and crew. They are a proud bunch of people that prefer a more regimented approach to their daily life and activities. They often approach these duties with open arms, and big hearts... as well as the odd bayonet, affixed to the phaser rifle.

Our Marines In addition to those duties, and regular reports to our publications the Comm Link, and Comm Link 2.0, has assigned duties during special events, and away team missions to be assigned depending on the event by discretion of the command staff, namely the Captain.
